CHRISTENING: Randy DeCuir checked the Baptism records (in July 1997): "Martin Ludger Plauche was born 16 May 1847, son of Jean Francois Plauche and Marie Louise Gremillion. He was baptized at Cocoville, St. Paul church, on 4 Sep. 1847 by Rev. C. Dalloz. Godparents: Edmond Plauche and Clarisse Gremillion" (Number 1, Page 84, Book 5, year 1847)
